摘要: Abstract In this work, the concept of multicontinuum approach has been extended to investigate permeation flux decline with time due fouling in crossflow filtration systems. attributed, mainly, available area for flow either or both two mechanisms; namely, oil droplets pinning and/or coalescence. we consider first mechanism which is attributed at membrane surface. another more general contributing problem fouling, involves coalescence and clustering. Under mechanism, porous have divided into a number continua according pores size distributions. These interact conditions permeation, rejection, breakup pinning. The porosity each continuum captured likewise critical velocity flux. This model introduces fitting parameters that are essentially dependent on type technique. Comparisons experimental data literature show very good match.
