摘要: A multicontinuum model is built to estimate the permeate flux of an oily water system across a thin flat membrane in cross filtration methodology demonstrated. Several continua are constructed represent droplet and pore-size distribution both dispersed oil phase porous membrane, respectively. The possible permeation has been divided into three criteria. In first criterion, droplets given size range may through second another be rejected pore range, third break apart leaving tail inside space, which will eventually permeate, rest sweep off due shear stress. These protocols identify proposed approach, introduced this part. © 2017 American Institute Chemical Engineers AIChE J, 63: 4604–4615,
