摘要: An electrokinetic transport based approach for quantification of reversible flux decline due to the concentration polarization an electrolyte solution in presence charged colloids is presented. The model envisions across a cake or gel layer as ions through cylindrical capillaries. This coupled with standard theory during cross flow membrane filtration. analysis carried out entirely terms generalized, non-dimensional variables. A dimensionless group termed scaled resistance evolves from analysis, which accounts electrical properties nano-colloids and solution. parametric study performed elucidate influence mass transfer, resistance, gel-electrolyte polarized layer. effects these parameters are examined on filtration performance equations.
