摘要: The aim of this study was to evaluate the prevalence physical inactivity and associated factors in adult women (20-60 years) Sao Leopoldo, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. A cross-sectional population-based carried out 40 census tracts city. Physical defined as no leisure-time activity or light-intensity activities more than once a week. Of 1,026 interviewed, 380 (37.0%; 95%CI: 34.0-40.0) were classified inactive. Another 609 (59.3%) reported moderate vigorous less three times In crude analysis, higher among non-white women, those with parity, schooling, low income, obese. After adjustment, only effect body mass index remained statistically significant. Local national policies for counseling environmental improvements are necessary reverse high observed community.
