摘要: Studies of a man-made tropical lake bordering the Pacific Ocean revealed case thermal inversion caused by superposition brackish water upon more saline water. An interesting biological community was observed characterized sparse plankton and abundant organisms attached to vertical basaltic walls. This unique environment supported thriving population mangrove oysters.
