摘要: An exploratory study was conducted in Lawachara National Park (LNP) to make a comparative analysis of co-management practice protected area management. This compares the socio-economic condition (income, social status, living style etc.) and forest dependency before after implementation activities LNP. A total 40 households out 153 were interviewed from 3 villages namely Magurchara Punji, Dalubari Radhanagar. Data shows that major income generating livelihood were, agro farming (30%), followed by fuelwood collection (22.50%), nursery raising (12.50%), cattle (10%), fisheries (7.50%) others. Study also reveals being average level studied have rises on 550 taka/HHs (1 US $ = Taka 70). Furthermore, many former illegal loggers became protector which makes their life more secured respectable society than before. It found peoples are now actively engaging management it is only hope for conservation restoration resources not LNP but other areas our country.
