摘要: Abstract Designing an automotive HumanMachine Interface (HMI) falls into a resource intensive and iterative prototyping process, where design inputs also emerge from subjectively evaluating the products. These are defined outcome of automaker’s brand sense appraisal process: achieving desired holistic perception product experience. This work aims at characterizing acoustic feedback mechanical push–buttons’ prototypes, parametrizing their sound by array psychoacoustic parameters. A review literature published in quality was performed, specially addressing impulsive sounds. From this review, list metrics for both temporal spectral content stands as contribution to methodologies research made use Design Experiment (DOE), producing 18 minor variations push–button, designed affording different haptic feedback. Yet, DOE impact on emissions remained unclear. An experimental procedure allowed prototypes’ characterization with metrics.
