摘要: The feasibility and safety of left atrial appendage closure with the Amplatzer cardiac plug (AGA Medical Corp., Minneapolis, MN) have been recently published; no thrombus formation on device surface has reported previously. We describe a case 66-year-old man permanent fibrillation, previous stroke, contraindication for long-term oral anticoagulant therapy. A 22-mm ACP was deployed successfully without complications. patient discharged acetyl salicylic acid 100 mg clopidogrel 75 daily. After 4 weeks, admitted lower gastrointestinal bleeding stopped. 3-month follow-up echocardiogram confirmed exclusion LAA but it demonstrated presence device. It decided to keep addition enoxaparin 60 bid. Transesophageal total resolution after 2 months. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
