摘要: Transection of the anterior cruciate ligament in dog leads to osteoarthritis. This study defines kinematic changes unstable knee after transection (six dogs) and a sham operation (four dogs). In dogs that were ligament-deficient (ACL-D), duration stance 1 week postoperatively decreased 38% from preoperative value, but only 4% decrease was seen at 6 weeks. The double hindlimb support increased 19% entire cycle surgery returned baseline value by 18 As limb contacted treadmill belt, initial flexion (yield) subsequent extension (propulsive) phases not evident or markedly attenuated every ACL-D throughout 26-week period observation. angular velocity patterns characterized slight touchdown (compared with zero preoperatively) peak velocities (both extension) during remainder phase. None these observed animals had operation. These data indicate that, dog, nervous system compensates for instability altering angular, temporal, parameters. reduction yield component phase may reduce ability absorb impact forces lead development osteoarthritis knee. Alternatively, reductions values presumably reflect protective muscular reflexes slow rate progression joint breakdown.
