摘要: The age-hardening behavior in the SiC particulate-reinforced 6061 aluminum alloy composites (SiCp/6061 Al composites) was investigated using hardness measurement, calorimetric technique and transmission electron microscopy. aging time for peak 10%SiCp/6061 20%SiCp/6061 shorter than that of unreinforced alloy, most accelerated composite. It is induced from high density dislocations SiCp/6061 which act as heterogeneous nucleation sites precipitates a diffusivity path elements. precipitation sequence aspect cannot be affected considerably by presence particulate volume fraction particulate. activation energies formation intermediate β' phase composite were 142.6 kJ/mol, 127.3 106.1 respectively.
