摘要: Although a decline in breast-feeding has been evident many industrialized countries during the last decades, human milk is major source of nutrition for infant most parts world. The benefits provided by milk, beyond being nutrients, are now well-recognized. Components with physiological activity include immunoglobulins (especially secretory IgA), enzymes (such as lipases and lysozyme), growth factors oligosaccharides anti-adhesive function (inhibiting attachment bacteria). Having recognized significance providing functional components to growing vulnerable infant, it logical be concerned about possibility that poor maternal may compromise quantity quality milk. Furthermore, if yield composition can affected nutrition, will dietary supplementation mother overcome any shortcomings? Such information aid designing effective relief programs areas counseling less educated mothers otherwise adequate food supply.
