摘要: In this study changes in intercondylar width (ICW) and angle (ICA) that occurred with rigid fixation after bilateral sagittal split osteotomy mandibular advancement are documented correlated temporomandibular (TM) symptoms, magnitude of advancement, shape. Even though individual occurred, there was no significant difference between the mean preoperative postoperative ICA ICW measurements. There also incidence TM pain or clicking. No correlation found percent change ICW, shape did not correlate to ICW. This suggests screw osteosynthesis does significantly The fact increase symptoms indicates condylar position occur were within range clinical adaptability patients.
