摘要: Background. High blood pressure in adults is directly correlated with increased risk of cardiovascular diseases. Hypertension childhood and adolescence could be considered among the major causes this problem adults. This study aimed to investigate factors associated hypertension adolescents Jahrom city Iran also standard percentiles were estimated for group. Methods. In community-based cross-sectional 983 high school students from different areas included using a multistage random cluster sampling method 2014. Blood pressure, weight, height each student measured methods. Data analyzed by statistical software SPSS 16. Results. total, 498 male 454 female study. Average systolic was 110.27 mmHg variation range 80.6-151.3. diastolic 71.76 mmHg 49.3-105. Results indicated that there significant relationship between gender, body mass index, parental education level (P < 0.05). Conclusions. Body index one most important changeable adolescents. Paying attention factor effective prevention diseases adulthood.
