摘要: The physiography of Lake Vechten (The Netherlands) is described together with morphometric data. lake (surface area 4.7 ha; mean depth 6.0 m) consists two basins maximum depths 10.5 and 11.9 m. Meteorological conditions in the region horizontal groundwater flow play an important role renewal time, which about years. has most years a circulation period from November till April but some years, when ice cover prolonged, it stratified winter as well. summer stratification extending May to end October very stable, anaerobic hypolimnion. Eddy conductivity stagnant water calculated. transparency strongly influenced by presence algal bacterial populations resuspended particulate matter. Secchi disk ranges 1.8 4.5 rn. 1% surface light reaches 4 5 m 8 9.5 May. ionic composition nutrient status are given.
