摘要: By considering data of maximum depth and average for 107 lakes, it is suggested that an 'elliptic sinusoid' closely approximates the shape lake beds. The elliptic sinusoid defined as a geometric body whose base ellipse such planes perpendicular to passing through centre latter intersect surface along troughs sine curves. results are capable practical application.
