摘要: Although Myofascial Pain Syndrome (MPS) is the most common diagnosis for injured workers [1], there no uniform description or definition of MPS in medical literature. Often phrase myofascial pain used to describe a variety difficult classify syndromes, resulting confused and contradictory treatment approaches. Correct successful patients suffering from must be based on firm understanding muscular component chronic syndromes. The New York Treatment Program protocol use at Lenox Hill Hospital classification, guidelines, developed by Dr. Hans Kraus, that recognize four types muscle (tension, spasm, deficiency, trigger points). It author's hope this presentation will assist other clinicians developing optimal rehabilitation programs.
