摘要: Abstract The inferior colliculus (IC) is a major center for neural integration in the auditory pathway. IC processes inputs from lower brainstem as well higher centers system. To understand cellular mechanisms of neurons processing, we investigated physiological characteristics rebound depolarization (RD) following membrane hyperpolarization rat's dorsal cortex (ICD). Whole-cell patch clamp recordings were made ICD brain slices. In more than half neurons, there was RD accompanied by one or two anode break action potentials (APs) hyperpolarization. Ca 2+ mediated and primarily due to activation low-threshold T-type channels. Generation APs depended on magnitude duration preceding Larger longer induced larger, shorter faster rebound, therefore earlier APs. However, with further became constant amplitude despite increases strength Usually, small − 15 mV 100–200 ms enough induce pronounced 15–20 mV. may provide neuronal mechanism integrating excitatory arriving soon after period synaptic inhibition processing specific aspects information.
