摘要: Abstract Indoor radon is considered as an indoor air pollutant due to its carcinogenic effect. Since the main source of ground beneath house, we utilize geogenic potential (GRP) and a hazard index (GRHI) for predicting component Rn in Germany. For this purpose, link data (n = 44,629) maps GRP GRHI fit logistic regression models calculate probabilities that exceeds thresholds 100 Bq/m3 300 Bq/m3. The estimated probability was averaged every municipality by considering only estimates within built-up area. Finally, mean exceedance per coupled with respective residential building stock estimating number buildings above 300 Bq/m3 each municipality. We found (1) better predictor than Germany, (2) Germany ~2 million (11.6% all buildings) and ~ 350,000 (1.9%), respectively, (3) areas where greater 10% comprise 0.8% German but 6.3% exceeding 300 Bq/m3, (4) most urban and, hence, (77%) are located low regions. implications protection twofold: priority area concept cost-efficient sense it allows find exceed threshold concentration given amount resources, optimal reduction lung cancer risk outside must be addressed since hazardous concentrations occur medium areas.
