摘要: The normal system functioning in the utilization of metabolizable germinants by both heat-sensitive and heat-resistant spores Clostridium perfringens was inactivated heat or treatment with alkali to remove a soluble coat protein layer. Altered were incapable germination (less than 1%) outgrowth 0.0005%) complex media without addition either lysozyme an initiation produced C. perfringens. these agents permitted, case alkali-treated spores, 90 95% outgrowth, as measured colony formation. In heat-damaged only 50% 2% resulted from protein, whereas permitted 85% 8% outgrowth. Alteration apparently lytic responsible for cortical degradation during germination. Kinetics production conditions affecting its activity that on altered are described.
