摘要: This article describes a telephone survey in 2008 to monitor non-communicable diseases. The study population consisted of adults (> 18 years age) living households with landline telephones the 27 Brazilian State Capitals. selected variables are presented according health insurance coverage (yes/no), gender, and adjusted prevalence ratios between populations without insurance. results represent 54,353 persons or older, 41.8% whom Health tended increase age schooling. Compared those insurance, men were more likely have diagnosis dyslipidemia, women had mammogram, Pap smear, dyslipidemia and/or osteoporosis, besides showing less arterial hypertension infrequent poor status. information is essential support promotion prevention appropriate programs.
