摘要: Background: The Internet Addiction Test (IAT) is the most widely used questionnaire to screen for problematic use. Nevertheless, its factorial structure still debated, which complicates comparisons among existing studies. Most previous studies were performed with students or community samples despite probability of there being more use users specific applications, such as online gaming gambling. Objective: To assess a modified version IAT that addresses video games and poker. Methods: Two adult samples—one sample gamers (n=920) one poker players (n=214)—were recruited completed an IAT. Both split into two subsamples. principal component analyses (PCAs) followed by confirmatory factor (CFAs) run separately.
