摘要: Zinc homeostasis is crucial for an adequate function of the immune system. deficiency as well zinc excess result in severe disturbances cell numbers and activities, which can increased susceptibility to infections development especially inflammatory diseases. This review focuses on role regulating intracellular signaling pathways innate adaptive cells. Main underlying molecular mechanisms targets affected by altered homeostasis, including kinases, caspases, phosphatases, phosphodiesterases, will be highlighted this article. In addition, interplay redox metabolism affecting emphasized. Key described detail different types this, effects fast flux, taking place within a few seconds minutes distinguish from slower signals, also designated “zinc waves”, late homeostatic signals regarding prolonged changes zinc.
