摘要: Abstract Ethnopharmacological relevance In the Amalfi Coast, Campania (Southern Italy) a total number of 102 plant species are used for medicinal purposes, with 276 different uses, among which, 183 new area and 34 Italy. Materials methods Data were obtained through semi-structured interviews 214 inhabitants study area. Results Folk phytotherapy is intended mainly as mode primary health care in order to heal minor illnesses, especially disease related respiratory, urogenital, skeletal gastrointestinal systems skin problems. Among interesting those Lobularia maritima (L.) Desv. subsp. against abdominal pains case cold coughs; Calystegia sylvatica (Kit. Schrad) Griseb resolvent pimples Santolina neapolitana Jourdan & Fourr., cough. The knowledge plants retained by middle aged housewives, even though, it declining. Many remedies shared other Italian regions or Mediterranean countries, while some uses seem be specific Conclusions area, ethnobotanical seems have many elements common areas, but also unique features. This rich tradition competes modern ways life: still play an important role practices, if disappearing.
