摘要: Abstract Porous chitosan scaffold is used for tissue engineering and drug delivery, but limited as a material due to its mechanical weakness, which restrains cell adhesion on the surface. In this study, chemical reagent (citrate) natural (genipin) are cross-linkers formation of chitosan-based films. Nanoindentation technique with continuous stiffness measurement system particularly applied porous surface examine characteristic modulus nanohardness The genipin-cross-linked ≈2.325 GPa, significantly higher than that an uncross-linked one (≈1.292 GPa). cell-scaffold interaction assessed. morphology results MTS assay 3T3-fibroblast cells indicate enhancement properties induced proliferation modified pore size film can be tuned specific applications such regeneration.
