摘要: Ischemic pre-condition of an extremity (IPC) induces effects on local and remote tissues that are protective against ischemic injury. To test the IPC normal hypoxic increase in pulmonary pressures exercise performance, 8 amateur cyclists were evaluated under normoxia hypoxia (13% F(I)O(2)) a randomized cross-over trial. was induced using arterial occlusive cuff to one thigh for 5 min followed by deflation 4 cycles. In control condition, resting artery systolic pressure (PASP) increased from normoxic value 25.6±2.3 mmHg 41.8±7.2 following 90 hypoxia. PASP only 32.4±3.1 hypoxia, representing 72.8% attenuation (p=0.003). No significant difference detected cycle ergometer time trial duration between conditions with either or administered prior exposure associated profound pressure.
