A checklist of the fish fauna of Greenland waters

摘要: Although the Greenland fish fauna has been studied for more than 200 years, new species continue to be discovered. We here take opportunity of International Polar Year 2007–08 (IPY) present an updated check-list fishes and discuss whether growing diversity can explained by global warming. A total 269 from 80 families are known Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), based on published literature specimens in museum collections. Twenty-nine were added basis taxonomic revisions and/ or identification caught before 1992, whereas 28 waters time since 1992.
