摘要: The clinical results after knee revision arthroplasty using the Total Condylar III (TC III) prosthesis were reviewed in 36 patients (36 knees). Patients assessed by physical examination, completion of a 100-point, modified Hospital for Special Surgery rating form, and roentgenographic evaluation. There 27 women nine men, with mean age 68 years. Mean follow-up period was 45 months (range, 24-84 months). Reason sepsis 15 loosening or instability 21 patients. Twenty Category C multiple joint involvement significant medical infirmity. Preoperative scores ranged from 11-72 points (mean, points). Postoperative 40-99 77 Clinical graded according to Insall. Eleven excellent, 14 good, six fair, four poor, there one failure. Pain improved preoperative score 16 43 postoperatively (50 possible). However, function less dramatically. Range motion based on maximum flexion averaged 98 degrees postoperatively. Varus tibial placement occurred 50% 1 degree-9 degrees). Slight femur seen 73%. Lucent lines 60%, 16% showing progressive lucencies. TC is effective salvaging unstable knees. Since natural history radiolucency not clear, less-constrained devices should probably be used when possible.
