摘要: The objective of this study was to quantify the strength repair tissue that forms at interface between pairs cartilage explants maintained in apposition an vitro culture system. Articular were harvested from calves and adult bovine animals, dissected into uniform blocks, incubated within a chamber 4 x 5 mm area overlap. Following 1-3 weeks incubation, integrative assessed by testing samples tensile single-lap configuration estimate adhesive strength. After incubation medium containing 20% fetal serum, calf blocks increased rate 7.0 10.5 kPa/week, respectively. This process appeared be dependent on viable cells, since lyophilization before completely inhibited development with measurable serum components medium. Incubation sample for 3 supplemented resulted relatively high proteoglycan content as well (34 kPa), whereas basal or without 0.1% albumin 54-70% lower 65-88% Samples also had higher DNA than Histological analysis indicated some cell division free surfaces explant occasional cells region explants.
