Quantization effects on magnetoplasmons in quantum wells

摘要: We study theoretically quantization effects in intrasubband magnetoplasmon energy spectra, for both quasi-one-dimensional (1D) and quasi-2D structures, using random-phase-approximation calculations. find interesting peak structures the spectra when Fermi surface crosses new subbands. The heights of such peaks are quantitatively calculated. Experimental accessibility effect is discussed.
