摘要: Interactions between dynamic microtubules and actin filaments (F-actin) underlie a range of cellular processes including cell polarity motility. In growth cones, are continually extending into selected filopodia, aligning alongside the proximal ends F-actin bundles. This interaction is essential for neuritogenesis growth-cone pathfinding. However, molecular components mediating filopodial have yet to be determined. Here we show that drebrin, an F-actin-associated protein, binds directly microtubule-binding protein EB3. this occurs specifically when drebrin located on in region filopodia EB3 at tips invading filopodia. When disrupted, formation cones extension neurites impaired. We conclude targets coordinate F-actin-microtubule interactions neuritogenesis.
