摘要: This paper presents a new method to enhance the fingerprint orientation image. Orientation, as global feature of fingerprint, is very important image preprocessing methods used in automatic identification systems (AFIS). The most popular, gradient-based sensitive noise (image quality). Proposed algorithmis an application gradient-basedmethod combined with more resistant pixel-alignment-basedmethod. Experimental results show that proposed robust and still maintaining accurate values highcurvature areas.
