摘要: This study presents a new method for finding reference point in fingerprint images. The proposed is based on the IPAN99 algorithm, which detects high curvature points contour of graphical object. algorithm was adjusted to detect friction ridges. It allows locating image. Since requires that thickness an analysed should be one pixel, each image adequately prepared before submitting analysis with algorithm. Evaluation efficiency consisted comparing distances between coordinates determined use and indicated by expert. developed compared other algorithms used determining point.
