摘要: Abstract This paper presents ultrasonic surgery (ie, Piezosurgery) as a new, relevant, and predictable method for performing atraumatic tooth extraction subsequent implant site preparation. Forty noninfected teeth or roots were extracted in 23 patients replaced immediately with implants. Extraction consisted of cutting the fibers periodontal ligament vibrating tips up to 10 mm depth; mobilized afterward an elevator. All teeth/roots removed without fracture. Implant osteotomies performed using conical increasing diameters. During placement, notching apical third palatal wall interradicular bridge was complication due uncontrolled movements instrument. After mean healing period 2.4 months, all implants osseointegrated have been successfully loaded at least 12 months. By implementing Piezosurgery, can be placement undemanding compared use burs, which lead instruments slipping during procedure.
