摘要: The importance of right ventricular (RV) structure and function in cardiovascular total morbidity mortality has been confirmed previously. purpose this study was to evaluate the influence gender on RV untreated hypertensive patients. This cross-sectional included 243 subjects who underwent 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure (BP) monitoring comprehensive echocardiographic examination including strain evaluation. There no difference diameter between normotensive women men. wall thickness, atrial volume index (RAVI), tricuspid E/e' ratio were significantly higher men than their counterparts. global longitudinal free strains lower Arterial hypertension affected RAVI, E/e', strain. Gender diameter, strain, whereas hypertension-gender interaction systolic BP LV mass independently associated with thickness only women, In conclusion, decreased patients both sexes. Hypertensive suffered more evident mechanical changes women. Gender, arterial hypertension, had important role structural remodeling.
