摘要: Abstract The cyclic oxidation behavior of Ru-containing single crystal superalloys at 1100 °C has been investigated in alloys with Ru contents ranging from 3.5 to 9 at.% (5.7–14.1 wt.%) and Cr additions 0 8 at.% (0–6.7 wt.%). High levels (8 at.%) significantly improved resistance, while increased adversely affected the performance. A multi-layered scale formed on alloy surface, it generally consisted an external layer NiO, intermediate spinel Al 2 O 3 inner layer. presence a continuous α-Al clearly Ru-rich precipitates were observed which displayed poor resistance. not only reduced propensity for formation phases oxide, but also promoted alumina adjacent superalloy, without stabilization any detrimental superalloy.
