摘要: Background SERPINA1 plays an anti-inflammatory role in protecting tissues from proteolytic mechanisms. is positive gliomas by immunohistochemical analysis; however, the of SERPINA1, including relationship with prognosis, has been uncertain. In recent years, digital polymerase chain reaction (PCR) provided ultra-sensitive assessment messenger RNA expression formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues. Objective this study, we quantitatively determined high-grade (HGGs) using PCR, and analyzed its prognosis. Methods Twenty-nine FFPE surgical samples patients HGGs (7 World Health Organization [WHO] grade III 22 WHO IV), human glioblastoma cell lines, U87 U118, were used for analysis. A qualitative immunostaining quantitative PCR performed to assess SERPINA1. Results The was demonstrated glioma multiforme lines immunostaining. Digital analysis showed that expressed 14.3% 63.6% IV HGG, respectively (P = 0.035). median overall survival 38.8 months low group longer than 15.3 high 0.030). Conclusions frequency amount higher HGGs. indicates a poor prognosis
