摘要: Eighty-one cases of acute urticaria were treated in our institution over a two-year period. In 13 32 screened for streptococcal pharyngitis, either positive throat culture, significant exoenzyme antibodies (Streptozyme test), or both found. Other causative factors the had been excluded. It is feeling that beta-hemolytic infection may be agent many urticaria, and not always clinically apparent. We therefore recommend culture determination enzyme level as routine procedures evaluating urticaria. also suggest, based on findings one case, discontinuing therapy when develops, even though necessary, might inappropriate.
