摘要: Neurons in the rat's thalamus and hypothalamus abruptly change their firing rates from minimum to maximum, or vice versa, with increase scrotal temperature of 1°C less (“switching response”). The threshold switching response was compared pairs neurons simultaneously recorded right left hypothalamus. In dynamic conditions which skin gradually warmed at 1–7°C/min, temperatures each neuron pair differed by only 0.4°C less. static responses neurons, determined step changes temperature, fell a range than 0.8°C. Scrotal wariming produced desynchronization cortical EEG monitored during unit recordings. occurred about same diencephalic were elicited.
