摘要: Oral Diseases (2010) 16, 469–475 Objective:  The aim of the study was to compare gustatory function between postmenopausal women and age-matched men. Subjects methods:  During a period 4 months, 30 men were prospectively evaluated for function. Each subject given symptoms questionnaire self-assessment taste Then, whole mouth test performed in which quality identification intensity ratings solutions measured. Results:  Regarding correct identification, results statistically non-significant (P > 0.05). As far as judgments are concerned, significant difference exists men. Intensity perception sucrose significantly lower than other tastes (P < 0.05). One noticeable findings is that 15 (50%) reported change dietary habits; all expressed liking sweeter food. Conclusion:  Postmenopausal appeared have reduced sucrose, can alter eating habits, such intake more sweet foods, whereas no observed NaCl, citric acid quinine hydrochloride Fifteen stated fondness taste.
