摘要: Abstract The challenge to raise practice standards in investigative and post-investigative child protection work may be met by greater opportunities for consultation. This qualitative study, based social services departments London, used the Focus Group method explore how consultation was provided internally pressurised departments. study examines when where case-based took place highlights obstacles safeguarding opportunities. paper argues further development of consultant posts, which are relatively new, paying special attention their status location organisation, consultants' training needs assessment skills.
