摘要: Purpose This study aims to explore Accelerators and their practices in sustaining start-ups within innovative programs for these companies based on the resource-based perspective. Moreover, with an ever-increasing demand amongst start-up companies, this also demonstrates importance of Accelerators, as it pertains new venture creation. Design/methodology/approach This research uses exploratory case approach examine a comparative view leading Accelerator USA Korea resource support. Findings The results show that there are number differences between two countries terms resources they support early-stage start-ups. The findings some similarities. However, Korea, landscape is limited, where mentorship, investments not readily accessible, resulting low success rates Korean companies. These limitations have had negative trickle-down effect when providing entrepreneurs strong access investors, which highly affects start-ups. Practical implications In theory, contributes growth early by emphasizing role accelerator suggesting extent impact investors. Originality/value With significant around world, necessity funding mentorship has increased drastically. Start-up need various types assets, systems, knowledge information achieve goals. In receive all aforementioned while improving entrepreneurial skills. many options seeking investors who both tangible intangible boost growth. While wealth traditional methods, few studies shed light from point view.
