摘要: Purpose This study aims to explore Accelerators and their practices in sustaining start-ups within innovative programs for these companies based on the resource-based perspective. Moreover, with an ever-increasing demand amongst start-up companies, this also demonstrates importance of Accelerators, as it pertains new venture creation. Design/methodology/approach This research uses exploratory case approach examine a comparative view leading Accelerator USA Korea resource support. Findings The results show that there are number differences between two countries terms resources they support early-stage start-ups. The findings some similarities. However, Korea, landscape is limited, where mentorship, investments not readily accessible, resulting low success rates Korean companies. These limitations have had negative trickle-down effect when providing entrepreneurs strong access investors, which highly affects start-ups. Practical implications In theory, contributes growth early by emphasizing role accelerator suggesting extent impact investors.
