摘要: Abstract Background and Objectives : At  present,  elderly Thais  rapidly  grow  both  in  number  and  longevity of  life which  effect    Thai  population  structure,  dependent  ratio,  health  services  system.  Mahasarakham  province,  no  doubt  has  been  confronted  these  problems. The  elderly  studies  review  the  relevance  to  understanding  context  including  the exploration research  gaps  strategy  in regards  improving  among  elderly. To we divided into  6  parts;  (1)  general  information,(2)  their  family,  (3)  potential,  (4)  quality  life,  satisfaction  factors  related,  (5)  happiness  (6)  social  welfare. Methods Cross – sectional  descriptive  study  by  reviewing  all  of  Mahasarakham  2007  Faculty  Medicine,  University.Total  were  6  parts  all  are  cross -  study. Results  Most  female,  widow,  completed  primary  school, had  low  income  since  childhood  government  standard.  elders   perceived  status  as  moderate  level  more  than  half  elders  chronic  diseases.  However,  there  were  70.9%  samples  who family  leaders  role  level.  This  found   elderly highly respected cultural Thai level,  especially  areas  culture,  E-san  tradition  handicrafts.  also  life  as good  related  community  participation,  relationship,  status,  self  esteem.  same  happiness   high  education  club  member,  participation  member.  Besides,  welfare  part  living  allowance  insurance  well.  urban  social   better  rural  elderly.  Most the    needs  aspects  financial  support.
