摘要: Suicide is a complex and multifactorial behavior, which likely the result of distinct pathways in different individuals or groups. Endogamy has been associated with numerous diseases, including behavioral disorders. Here, we discuss hypothesis endogamy as one mechanism facilitating high rates suicide some small isolated groups people across world. To support our hypothesis, describe four geographically culturally populations (the Aguarunas Peru, Vaqueiros Spain, Baruyas New Guinea, Palawans Philippines), present following characteristics: (1) level isolation endogamy; (2) very restricted to group (3) adjacent similar origin culture displaying low suicide. Within these populations, could act amplifier both selected genetic risk alleles microcultural values (e.g. an acceptable solution), beyond cultural traits shared by whole population (and therefore found all groups). Genetic factors are transmitted through close kinship imitation/modeling, interact increase frequency vulnerable leading, turn, heightened Culture sometimes additionally generating stressful conditions for lower social status maltreatment). In contrast endogamy, motives (notably interpersonal conflicts) mental disorders appear be universal factors. More investigation this necessary, represent singular case gene-culture co-transmission shed light on particular genesis.
