摘要: Reproductive rate is a major contributing factor to the profitability of sheep meat enterprise. Low reproduction feature husbandry in semi-arid Queensland. High ambient temperatures are implicated poor fertility (Moule 1970) where variation response can be due breed and animals within (Hopkins Stephenson 1978). Breeds recently imported from South Africa were selected arid environments may better adapted pastoral conditions northern Australia than traditional breeds.
