摘要: Abstract A series of cyclometallated and functionalised NHC gold(I) gold(III) complexes, many which feature chiral ligands, their application to A3-coupling reactions is presented. Gold(III) complexes were found be particularly effective catalysts for the coupling in a range solvents, however no asymmetric induction was obtained when using gold rate product formation similar even different ligand systems. In-situ NMR analysis these indicates that decomposition catalyst occurs during course reaction while TEM studies revealed presence nanoparticles crude mixtures. Taken together data suggest nanoparticles, rather than intact could catalytically active species, if so this may have significant implications other gold-catalysed
