摘要: Purpose The aim of this study was to investigate the incidence and risk factors for secondary ocular hypertension (OHT) in patients with moderate severe infectious ulcerative keratitis evaluate long-term outcome OHT. Patients methods A retrospective chart review 346 admitted Siriraj Hospital during period from 1 January 2005 31 May 2008 conducted. Secondary OHT defined as intraocular pressure (IOP) greater than 21 mmHg or a consistent demonstration higher IOP affected eye 8 greater, at any time before resolution ulcer. were determined. Among OHT, persistent elevated blindness last follow-up also evaluated. Results Two hundred two eyes included study. 45.5%. Severe anterior chamber cells' reaction elevation active (P=0.003 0.018, respectively). Long-term data available 69 OHT; 32.9% (22/69) developed after resolved. Older age (P=0.007) hyperosmotic agents used (P=0.028) associated elevation. Age among (P=0.002). Conclusion Moderate high main corneal infiltration inflammation. One-third healed. significantly IOP. poorer visual outcome.
