摘要: Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) is one of the most common types cancer in India with high incidence rapid recurrence rates. Here, we aimed to investigate role β-catenin, a developmental pathway gene, HNSCC therapy resistance, DNA damage response, prognosis. In total 80 samples were included. Western blot, immunohistochemistry qRT-PCR analyses performed assess β-catenin expression cut margin tumor areas each sample. Kaplan-Meier correlate survival prognosis patients. addition, chemo-resistance, response repair capacities evaluated HNSCC-derived lines through LiCl-mediated up-regulation siRNA-mediated silencing expression. We observed recurrent patients compared their corresponding regions, which subsequently could be associated poor found that cells led cisplatin evasion apoptosis, enhanced migration. The effects correlated its putative chemo-resistance response. From our results conclude may contribute resistance disease relapse. As such, explored as therapeutic target along conventional therapeutics.
