摘要: Poor drug compliance may cause a decreased survival of children with malignancies. Children who fail to take their medications are not receiving optimum amounts chemotherapy and suboptimal therapy causes shortened in cancer. This is study prednisone 52 cancer during three distinct phases therapy. The patients were either known be taking (on-therapy group), off (off-therapy or was unknown (unknown group). Evaluation attempted by measuring hemoglobin level changes, weight random urinary 17-ketogenic steroids. results obtained show that while changes helpful, urine steroid assay able differentiate clearly those prednisone. By the use this it found 33% protocol instruction supposed complying. Separate analysis adolescents revealed an even more alarming 59% noncompliance rate. striking strongly suggests threatened noncompliance.
