摘要: In this research inactivity was simulated by immobilizing the forearm region in a plaster cast. Changes skeletal muscle oxidative function were measured using near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), and preventative effect of training protocol on deterioration clinical utility NIRS examined. Fourteen healthy adult men underwent immobilization non-dominant arm cast for 21 days. Eight subjects designated as group (IMM) six + (IMM+TRN). Grip strength, circumference dynamic handgrip exercise endurance before after 21-day period. Using NIRS, changes muscles also evaluated. Muscle oxygen consumption recovery recorded completion 60 seconds 40% maximum voluntary contraction (MVC) 1 repetition per 4 time constant (TcVO2mus) calculated. TcVO2mus IMM 59.7 ± 5.5 (average standard error) lengthened significantly to 70.4 5.4 (p < 0.05). For IMM+TRN, 78.3 6.2 shortened 63.1 5.6 The program used experiment effective preventing declines due immobilization. experimental results suggest that non-invasive monitoring would be possible setting.
