摘要: Multipotent stem cells have the potential to establish a new field of promising regenerative medicine treat tissue damage, genetic disorders, and degenerative diseases. However, limited resource has turned be an evitable obstacle in clinical applications. We utilized simple vitro epigenetic reprogramming approach convert skin fibroblasts into multipotent cells. After transient reprogramming, cell markers, including Oct4 Nanog, became activated treated The reprogrammed were as demonstrated by their ability differentiate variety form teratomas. Genomic imprinting insulin-like growth factor II (Igf2) H19 was not affected this short period reprogramming. This study may provide alternative strategy efficiently generate patient-specific for basic research, solving major hurdles virally-induced pluripotent (iPS) that entail risks mutation, gene instability, malignancy.
